Snow troops (January – February)

 “Snow troops” has become an All-Russian altruistic activity consolidating student volunteers from all over the country. Each student squad is assigned to particular district of the region and visits its localities with a set of socially useful activities. Specifically, they light up student brigades’ functions for high school students, promote higher and secondary vocational education into youth of rural areas, advocate healthy lifestyle, and help WWII Veterans, Veterans of Labor and lonely retired persons. Plus, they hold friendly games in various sports; perform a concert in numerous cities of Novosibirsk region.

Open Days (February, November)

Speak to staff and students on a one-to-one basis, collect printed information and find out more about life within and beyond our courses.  See what it means to be a seaman: you will know how to make simple sailor’s knots, hear true seafarers’ stories and many other interesting things.

Student rescue competition (August)

All-Russian student rescue contest «World rescue competition 2016" is held to popularize the student rescue teams as an effective mean of preparing young people volunteering to act in situations of natural and man-caused emergencies , protect the lives and property of fellow citizens from acts of terrorism and other threats. The program includes obstacle course modeling the main risks of the emergency consequences, and additional courses of rock climbing, cross country run, orienteering, overcoming water obstacles, rope access, transporting injured people, first aid in road accidents etc.

TranspArt Festival (December)

All-Russian student festival  "TranspArt" is held at the initiative and with the support of Ministry of Transport of Russia as part of annual event dedicated to issues of transport, called "Transport Week". Festival is held annually among the educational institutions of higher education and their branches under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Transport federal agencies, and also with the participation of educational institutions complying with Ministry of Education of Russia that train personnel for the transport area. The “TranspArt” festival aims to preserve traditions of transport sector, promote transport career, provide patriotic education concurrently developing artistic taste and corporate culture.
